This school year, I am celebrating my twentieth anniversary as a teacher. I am marking this milestone with a new step in my career: I am starting as a freelance language teacher and wine educator!
The wine educator | VINO
I am a certified WSET Level 1 and 2 educator. My passion for wine started some 40 years ago at my grandparents’ house in Crete, Greece. They had a traditional house with a lush patio with a wood-fired oven. I remember their huge fields with olive and fruit trees. The best part? Their vineyards and winery! I was allowed to taste their wine, but access to their wine cellar was strictly forbidden! Today, their wine would be the perfect natural wine sold in trendy wine shops.

The language teacher | LINGO
Language is definitely my thing! I grew up in a trilingual family, so it is no surprise that I have completed multiple language studies. I hold a Master’s degree in teaching Spanish and German, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in teaching French, English, and Dutch as a foreign language. I enjoy creating language learning experiences grounded in the principles of task-based and project-based learning.
I have taught at secondary schools, university colleges, academic language centres, adult education centres and language academies. I am available as a language teacher for courses at your school, language academy, language centre, or even at your home or company. You can book me for tailored courses in any of these languages.
Where languages and wine converge
With my expertise in language teaching and passion for wine, I offer a unique opportunity to combine wine tastings and wine courses with language learning in Dutch, English, French, German, and Spanish. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, I tailor courses to various levels of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). These courses can be held at your language academy, wine academy, or even in the comfort of your home or workplace. I am also available for wine courses and tastings without a language course.
